Journey Church Capital Stewardship Campaign
Dear Church Family,
During the summer of 2004 a handful of people met in a living room and began a great adventure. They shared a vision that church should be relevant. That serving should be exciting. And that people should be as important to us as they are to God.
Since then, the dream of Journey Church has become a thrilling reality. Now we are reaching over 500 each week in our mission to “help people take their next step toward Christ…together.” We’ve worked and planned and prayed continuously to reach people who are disconnected from God and lead them to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Look around our community and you’ll see that our adventure is just getting started. It will continue the same way it began: With a burning desire to reach people who are disconnected from God with the life changing message of Hope through Jesus Christ. It’s why we’re here on this journey – and why we’ll stay on this road until the job is done.
As we proceed through “The Journey Continues…walking by Faith”, our capital stewardship campaign, I want you to know that I am excited to be the Pastor of our great church. When I think about God’s goodness to us in the past, I am filled with gratitude. When I think about what God wants to do for us and through us, I am flooded with anticipation.
This journey provides all of us a wonderful opportunity to see God do a miracle in our midst while providing the means to increase our ministry in our community and to the ends of the earth. It is the opportunity to know in a fresh way the blessings that come through giving.
